Hiland Overseas

We’ve been over here at Bhikaji Cama Place for a while now. Somdutt Chambers-Ii is where we spend most of our days, specifically in room 423. It’s an older building but it works for us. Hiland Overseas started out small. We handle a lot of shipping and export stuff, mostly dealing with paperwork and making sure things get where they need to go. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to actually get through the mail. Most of the people working here have been around for years. We know the tea stall downstairs pretty well by now. It isn't a fancy setup. There are boxes in the corners and the desks are a bit crowded with files. We just try to keep things moving. Moving goods across borders isn't always easy because the rules change, but we figure it out. We aren't a huge corporation with a shiny lobby or anything like that. Just a group of people in an office trying to do right by the folks who hire us. If you come by, you’ll probably see me or one of the guys sorting through invoices. We don't have a big marketing team. We just do the work. It’s a busy part of Delhi, so getting here can be a hassle with the traffic, but we like being in the middle of things. That's pretty much who we are and what we do every day.
