H. C. S. Enterprises

We've been at 53 Kushak Road No.-2 for a long time now. Gali No.-2 is a narrow place and it can get a bit crowded with the rickshaws and delivery bikes, but we like it here in G.T.K. Nagar. H. C. S. Enterprises isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside. We have our main shutter and a small side door that we mostly keep propped open for some air. Inside, it’s mostly shelves and boxes stacked up. We spend our mornings checking what came in and what needs to go out to the customers. Sometimes the orders get a bit mixed up if we’re rushing, but we always sort it out in the end. It's just a few of us working here. We don't have a big office with air conditioning; we just use a couple of standing fans when it gets hot in the summer. Usually, the tea guy from the corner brings us a few cups around eleven. That’s when we take a small break and talk about the news or the traffic. We don't do much advertising because most people find us just by walking past or hearing about us from the neighbors. The desk in the front is quite old and the drawers stick sometimes, but it does the job. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the work at hand. It’s a busy life but we’re used to the routine of the Gali by now. That's about it for us, really.
