Global Herbs

Global Herbs is located on the third floor of Building No. 47, right in the middle of New Katra Ishver Bhaban. If you know the Khari Baoli area, you know how crowded and loud it gets with all the carts and people moving spices around every day. We are right in the thick of it. Getting up to the third floor can be a bit of a workout, especially on those days when the stairs are crowded with heavy bags. The air around here always smells like a mix of dried leaves, turmeric, and black pepper. It’s a strong smell that gets into your clothes after a while, but we’re used to it by now. Our space is mostly taken up by boxes, ledger books, and various samples. We don’t have any polished reception area or fancy furniture for guests. It’s a working office where we handle the paperwork for the herbs that come through the market. Sometimes it feels like there isn't enough room to turn around, but we manage to stay organized in our own way. The building itself is quite old and has a lot of character, though the elevators can be a bit temperamental when you need them most. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a while, seeing the same familiar faces every day at the tea stall downstairs. It’s not a quiet life, but it’s how things are done here.
