Gagan Industrial Corportion

Down in Mangolpuri, things move at a certain pace. Gagan Industrial Corportion is located at B-282 in the Industrial Area, Phase-I, and if you’ve ever been here, you know it’s a lot of grey buildings and heavy trucks. We do a lot of heavy work here. The floor is concrete and has some cracks that have been there since I started. We deal with a lot of metal parts and industrial supplies. It’s not the kind of place you’d come to see something pretty. Everything is built for use. We have these big shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, and half the time, I forget what’s on the top one. We spend our mornings looking at orders and making sure the packing is done right. The noise from the surrounding factories is constant, a sort of hum that you stop hearing after a few weeks. Lunch is usually just something brought from home, eaten quickly near the back door where there’s a little bit of a breeze. Sometimes we have to deal with the rain leaking in a little bit near the loading dock, but we just put a bucket down and keep going. Mangolpuri is a tough area, but it’s where all the real work happens. We don't have a fancy reception desk; you just walk in and find someone. It’s just us, some machines, and a lot of work to finish before dark every single day.
