If you are looking for us, we are on the first floor at 39, Raghu Shree Market. That’s right in the Ajmeri Gate area. It’s a very old part of the city and the streets are always packed with people and carts. Our place is up a narrow set of stairs that can be a bit tricky if you aren't used to them. We do manufacturing work here for refrigeration parts. It’s a noisy shop because of the tools and the metal being worked on. Friends Refrigeration Manufacturers is basically a workshop where we spend our days cutting, welding, and putting things together. It gets quite hot in the summer, especially with the machines running, so we have a few big fans going all the time. The market outside is famous for hardware and tools, so we are in the right spot for what we do. We don’t have a fancy sign or a lobby. You just walk into the workspace. There’s usually a bit of metal scrap on the floor and the smell of oil in the air. We’ve been working at this market for years and we know all the other shopkeepers around us. We share tools sometimes or help each other out with big loads. It’s a tight-knit community here. Our work isn't pretty, but it’s honest and we stay busy from morning till the market closes at night. The light in the workshop isn't the best, but we know where everything is kept.
