Energy Enterprises is located at No.484 - A1, on the 13th Cross of Peenya Industrial Area, 4th Phase. If you know Peenya, you know it’s a maze of factories and workshops. We’ve been in this particular spot for about twelve years. We do a lot of electrical assembly and some machine parts. The workshop isn’t huge, but we have enough space for our benches and the soldering stations. It’s always a bit noisy because the factory next door has a massive press that thumps all day long. We have a small team of six people. Most of us eat lunch together on the back steps. We usually talk about cricket or the traffic on the way in. The walls are painted a pale green that is peeling in some corners. We have a big metal shutter that we roll up every morning at eight-thirty. I keep my tools organized on a pegboard, though they usually end up scattered by noon. We don't spend money on shiny brochures. We just do the work that comes in. Most of our clients are other businesses in the same industrial area. They know they can drop off a motor or a panel and we will get to it when we can. It’s honest work. Sometimes we stay late when a big order needs to go out, drinking cold tea and finishing up the wiring until it's dark and the street gets quiet.
