Doodh Bhawan

Doodh Bhawan is located at 1116, Bazar Matia Mahal. We are right in the heart of the Jama Masjid area. If you come through Gate No- 1 of the masjid, we are very close by. It’s a very old part of the city, and the streets are always packed with people, rickshaws, and the smell of food from the nearby stalls. Our building, number 1116, is tucked into the busy market line. We deal with milk, hence the name Doodh Bhawan. The morning starts long before most people are awake because the milk has to be ready for the early shoppers. It’s a tight space, typical for Bazar Matia Mahal. We have been here for a long time, and the building shows its age, but it’s sturdy. Working near Jama Masjid means there is never a dull moment. You hear the calls to prayer and the constant chatter of the bazaar all day long. We don't have fancy office chairs or big computers. It’s mostly counters, large containers, and people coming in for their daily supply. Sometimes the narrow lanes make it hard for deliveries to reach us, but we manage. It’s a lot of standing and moving heavy containers around. Doodh Bhawan is just a part of the daily rhythm of this neighborhood, nothing more and nothing less. We just keep the milk moving for the locals who have been coming to us for years.
