You can find us at 187 Lajpat Rai Market in the middle of Chandni Chowk. This part of Central Delhi is always packed with people and the noise from the market never really stops. Dar-Reh Valley Estates has its office right here among the shops selling electronics and clothes. It’s a small space, like most places in this old part of the city. We have shelves full of old folders and a couple of desks that have been here for years. The stairs leading up are quite narrow, so you have to be careful when you're carrying anything. We don't have any big signs or flashy lights out front. We just do our estate work from this little corner. The smell of street food from the nearby stalls is always in the air, which is nice but also makes you hungry all the time. Our day usually starts with a cup of tea from the local vendor who knows us by name. We don't have any fancy mission goals or things like that. We just talk to the people who come in and try to handle the property matters as best as we can. It’s a very local way of doing things, and we like it that way. The electricity can be a bit unreliable in the peak of summer, but we manage. It’s just how life is in the heart of 110006. Sometimes we stay late when the market quietens down just to enjoy the silence.
