M2K Victoria Gardens

M2K Victoria Gardens sits right on the Ring Road, right next to Model Town. It’s a pretty well-known spot because of the location. We work here handling the day-to-day things that come up with the property. It’s a big place, and there’s always something that needs looking after, whether it’s the gates or just making sure the common areas are okay. Being right on the Ring Road means it's easy for people to see us, but the traffic can be a lot sometimes. We aren't a bunch of suit-and-tie corporate types; we're just the people who keep the place going. Most of our day is spent walking around the grounds or sitting in the office area talking to people who live here or are looking to move in. It’s a lot of practical work, really. Model Town is right next door, so we feel like part of that community too. There is no fancy mission statement or anything like that here. We just try to make sure things are working like they should. If a pipe leaks or a light goes out, we're the ones who hear about it and try to get it fixed as soon as we can. It’s a busy job because the place is large, but the team has got a rhythm down now. It’s just a regular group of us working here, trying to keep the gardens and the buildings in decent shape for everyone who stays here.
