Crown Rubber Products

We’ve been here at 246/211 on Thambu Chetty Street for a long time now. It’s a busy area and we spend most of our days getting rubber items sorted for whoever comes by. Crown Rubber Products isn't a fancy office, it's more of a place where things get done. You know how it is in this part of town, there is always noise and traffic, but we just stick to our work. We handle a lot of different rubber parts and supplies. Some days it’s hectic and other days we’re just making sure everything is in its right place. People around here know where to find us. We don't really do much advertising. Most people just walk in or call because they’ve heard we have what they need. It gets hot in the shop during the summer, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. The street gets crowded with trucks and bikes, so unloading stuff takes a bit of time sometimes. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing. It’s a simple setup. We just focus on the orders we have on the desk. Sometimes things take a bit longer if a supplier is late, but we try to keep things moving. We aren't big on meetings or anything like that. We just show up, open the shutters, and get to it. That’s how we’ve always worked here. It’s a living for us and we just keep going.
