If you head over to Park Town and look for Devaraja Mudali Street, you’ll find us at number 78. Blue Star Enterprises is right in the middle of all that noise and bustle. It’s a narrow street, so it’s always a bit of a squeeze when the delivery carts go past. Our shop isn't much to look at from the outside. We’ve got shelves lining the walls and a heavy counter where most of the work happens. We sell different kinds of supplies, and it feels like we’re always counting stock or writing out bills by hand. It’s a tight space, but we know where everything is kept. Most of our customers are locals who have been coming to this street for years. We don't do much advertising; word of mouth seems to work fine for us. There’s always someone stopping by to ask for something specific we might have tucked away in the back. The fans hum all day long to keep the heat down. We usually eat our lunch right there at the desk because it stays busy throughout the afternoon. It’s the kind of place where you have to move a box just to find a chair to sit on. We don’t mind the clutter though. It shows we’re actually doing something. It’s a basic business, run by people who just want to do a decent job every day. No big secrets to it, just staying open and helping people find what they need.
