You can find us at House No. 3027 in Gali Ansar, right by Turkman Gate. It’s an old part of Delhi, and the lanes are so narrow that you can barely fit a rickshaw through some parts. Our building has been here for ages. It’s got thick walls and small windows, which keeps it a bit cooler in the summer heat. We deal with a lot of different things throughout the day. People come in and out of the gate constantly. It’s a loud area with the sounds of the market and people shouting to each other across the street. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most of our stock is kept in the back rooms where it’s a bit cramped. I usually sit at the wooden desk near the front to keep an eye on things. My son helps me with the heavier stuff since my knees aren't what they used to be. We’ve known the neighbors for twenty years, so there’s always someone stopping by for a chat. It’s a bit chaotic, but that’s just Turkman Gate for you. We don't have a website or anything like that. We just open the doors in the morning and see who comes by. It’s a lot of paperwork and manual counting. We just keep going, day after day, in this little corner of the city.
