Ashok Brothers

We are Ashok Brothers, and you can find us up on the 1st Floor of the Shyam Bazar Building. Our shop is number 28. Katra Shahan Shahi is a busy place, and it’s right in the middle of Chandni Chowk, so it’s always loud outside with all the shouting and traffic. We’ve been in this building for a long time now. The stairs can be a bit steep if you aren’t used to these old buildings, and they are usually narrow too. We mostly just handle our stock and talk to the people who come in looking for things. It’s a tight space with boxes everywhere, but we know where everything is kept. Sometimes the lights flicker but we just ignore it and keep moving. My brother and I manage the daily stuff together. Chandni Chowk is always crowded, so getting here takes some patience. We usually have tea delivered around four in the afternoon from the stall downstairs. The building is old but it stays cool enough in the summer months. We don't have a big sign outside, just the number on the door. It’s just how we work here. We keep the registers going and try to stay organized among all the chaos of the market. People come from all over for the wholesale prices in this area. We just sit here, do the billing, and make sure the items are packed right. It’s a lot of manual work every single day, but it is what we know.
