K. D. Traders

K. D. Traders is situated at 192, Dhaka Village, near Kingsway Camp. It’s a bit of a tucked-away spot, not right on the main road, which makes it easier for unloading our goods. We deal with various items, mostly supplying smaller shops in the area. Our space is basically a big room filled with sacks and boxes. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a calendar and some notes tacked up. Most of the day is spent checking inventory and talking to drivers who come to pick up loads. It can get a bit dusty when we’re moving things around. We’ve lived around Kingsway Camp for a long time, so we know the neighborhood well. The neighbors are mostly other small businesses or families who have been here for years. We open up early in the morning before the traffic gets too bad. Sometimes the power goes out, so we have to sit outside for a bit to stay cool and wait for it to come back. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just focus on getting the right products to the right people. It’s a straightforward business. We keep our books by hand mostly, though we have a computer for the bigger stuff. It's a honest way to earn a living, and we've been doing it this way for quite a while now. It's just how we operate. Nothing fancy, just hard work and getting the job done.
