Spares 4 Appliances is tucked away in Gali Jatwara, right in the heart of Sadar Bazar. Our address is 66, and we’re near Pulmithai and Teliwara. If you know Sadar Bazar, you know how crowded it gets with people and carts everywhere. Our shop is filled from floor to ceiling with spare parts for all kinds of home appliances. We have knobs, motors, gaskets, and things I don’t even know the names of sometimes. It’s a bit of a maze inside, but we can usually find what a customer needs if they describe it well enough or bring the old part with them. We’ve been here for years, and the shop hasn't changed much. It’s a family-run business, and we spend our days digging through boxes to help people fix their fridges or washing machines. We don't have a fancy computer system to track everything; it's mostly just stored in our heads. Sometimes we don't have what you're looking for, but we can usually tell you who might. It’s a loud, dusty, and very busy part of town, but we wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here. We just sell the bits and pieces that keep people's houses running. It's a lot of standing around and talking to customers, and by the time we close up, the streets are finally starting to get a bit quieter. We just hope to find the right part for whoever walks in.
