Down in the town of Mahuva, at a place called Unaniyadarnal Nal, is where you will find Andkhisons Agro (I) Pvt. Ltd. It is a bit out of the way from the main roads, which is fine by us because it puts us closer to the fields and the farmers we work with every day. The building we use is quite simple, nothing too special to look at from the outside. We spend most of our days dealing with the local produce and making sure everything is processed correctly. It is a lot of seasonal work, so some months are much crazier and more stressful than others. When the harvest finally comes in, it is all hands on deck from sunrise until well after sunset. We get a lot of dirt on our boots and spend a lot of time talking to the local growers about the weather and the condition of the soil. It is a very practical and hands-on kind of business. We do not have a fancy website that we update or any of that high-tech marketing stuff. We just focus on the agro side of things and getting the products ready for the market. It is quiet out here compared to the noise of the big cities, and we like it that way. Most of the people working here have lived in this Mahuva area their whole lives. We know the land and we know the crops well. It is just honest work, day in and day out, making sure everything is done right for the harvest.
