Our place is at 6480, Street No.3 on Nawab Road. It is a very busy street with a lot of small shops and people moving around at all hours of the day. Because the road is narrow, it can be quite a headache when we have to load or unload goods, but we have learned how to manage it over time. The building we are in has been around for a while and has a lot of character, even if the walls could use a fresh coat of paint. We work on exports, so there is a constant stream of paperwork that needs to be signed and stamped. Our desks are usually covered in files and ledgers because we still like to keep a hard copy of everything we do. The ceiling fans work hard in the summer to keep the place from getting too stuffy. Most of the people who work here live close by, so there is a real local feel to the office. We don't have a formal dress code; we just wear what is comfortable for a long day of work. Sometimes the neighbors come by to chat or borrow a tool, and we do the same. It is a noisy, lively area and we are right in the thick of it. We just focus on making sure our orders are correct and that the shipments go out on the right day without any mistakes.
