Our shop is at 6536, Khari Baoli. If you’ve ever been to Khari Baoli, you know exactly what it’s like. It’s incredibly crowded, the lanes are narrow, and there are people carrying heavy sacks everywhere. It’s one of those old parts of Delhi where everything feels like it’s been there forever. We are a trading company, mostly dealing with the kind of stuff you find in this market. Our space is small and stuffed with goods from floor to ceiling. It can be hard to move around sometimes. We’ve been here for generations, so we know the neighbors and the way the market works. It’s a loud place with people shouting and bells ringing all day long. We don’t have fancy brochures or a shiny storefront. It’s just a shop with a wooden counter and a lot of stock. We spend a lot of time talking to suppliers and checking the quality of what comes in. It’s a lot of physical work, moving things around and making sure orders are ready for the porters. It’s not a polished life, but it’s real. We are just part of the fabric of Khari Baoli, doing the same kind of trading that’s been going on here for hundreds of years. We just try to be honest and keep our customers coming back.
