A. G. Enterprises, New Delhi

Our office, A. G. Enterprises, is on the first floor at 2637 Naya Bazar in New Delhi. Naya Bazar is a famous old market and it is always incredibly busy. There are carts and people everywhere, and the noise is constant. We are located just above the street, so we can see everything happening below. The office itself is quite old. We have wooden floors that creak and desks that have been here for decades. We deal in wholesale trading, so a lot of our work involves talking to people and negotiating prices. We have stacks of registers and notebooks where we record everything by hand. It is a very traditional way of doing business. We don't have air conditioning, only a few old ceiling fans that spin around and make a bit of noise. The stairs leading up to our office are quite steep and narrow. We often have samples of different products in small bowls on our desks so we can show them to people who stop by. It's a very community-oriented place. We know almost all the other traders in this part of the market. We aren't trying to be a modern or polished company. We just do things the way they have always been done in Naya Bazar. It is a hectic place to work, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
