Sarkar Traders

Sarkar Traders is based out in Pratapgarh, in the Bangaon district area. It’s a more quiet place compared to the big cities, but we stay busy enough. We’ve been here for a while, dealing with various trade goods that the local people need. The shop is a simple structure. We don't have any air conditioning or fancy furniture. Usually, there is a breeze coming through the door, and that’s about it. We mostly deal with agricultural or building materials depending on the season. People from the nearby villages come to us when they are fixing up their homes or starting a new project. We know a lot of our customers by their first names. Life moves at a bit of a slower pace here, but the work is still hard. We spend our time checking stock and making sure we have enough of the basics. Sometimes we sit outside on a bench when things are slow. We don't do any big advertising. If someone needs something, they just know where to find us. The paperwork is all done in a notebook. It’s a very manual way of working, but it has worked for us so far. We just try to be helpful to the folks in Bangaon. It's a plain business run by local people. If you drop by, you might see us chatting with a neighbor. We aren't in a hurry usually. We stay open until the sun goes down mostly and the birds start heading back.
