A. M. Hardware

A. M. Hardware is a small shop located in the village of Majampur. We are in the Haroa area of 24 Parganas North, and you have to head towards Khalisadi to find us. It’s a local hardware store where we keep a bit of everything that folks in the village might need. We have shelves full of nails, hammers, pipes, and different kinds of tools. The shop is quite small and sometimes it feels like the walls are closing in with all the stock we try to cram in there. We don't have any fancy displays, just things hanging from hooks or piled in boxes on the floor. Most of our customers are our neighbors who come in for a few screws or some paint. We spend a lot of time chatting with people who stop by, which is the best part of being in a small village like Majampur. The pace is slow and we like it that way. In the evenings, the street outside gets a bit more active as people return from the fields or the city. We keep a light on out front and stay open until it’s time for dinner. It’s not a big business by any means, just a simple hardware shop serving the local community here in Haroa. We just try to keep the things people need in stock so they don't have to travel too far. Sometimes we run out of things, but we just order more for the next week.
