Our office for Pricewaterhousecoopers is located at FD 470 1 in Salt Lake, Sector 3. Kolkata 700106 is the full area code. Salt Lake is a bit different from the rest of the city because it’s a lot more planned out. Sector 3 is usually quiet, which helps when we have a lot of numbers to look at. The building we are in is a standard residential-style block. We have the office on one of the floors, and it’s a fairly basic space. There is a lot of wood paneling which was probably popular years ago. We have a few big desks and some metal cupboards for all the records. The windows let in a decent amount of light, but we usually have the curtains drawn to keep the heat out. There are some nice trees along the street outside. Sometimes the local tea seller comes by with his cart, which is the highlight of the afternoon. We don't have a big reception desk or a lobby. You just walk in and we are right there working. It’s a very functional environment. Most of us have lived in Kolkata for years, so we are used to the pace here. If you are coming by, the FD block is easy to find if you follow the main road through Sector 3. It's a nice, steady place to work every day.
