Aidias

We’ve been based at CD 288 in Salt Lake for a good while now. Kolkata is a city that takes its time, and Salt Lake is a bit quieter than the rest of it, which we appreciate. The building is a typical one for this area. It has those stairs that are a bit steep and the paint is peeling a little in the corners, but it’s sturdy. Inside Aidias, the setup is pretty basic. We have a few computers, some old filing cabinets, and a table where we eat our lunch together. We don't have a dedicated break room or anything like that. We just clear a space among the papers. Most of our day is spent looking at screens or talking on the phone. It’s not very glamorous. Sometimes the neighbors’ dog starts barking, and we just have to wait it out. We don’t have a receptionist in a suit. If the bell rings, whoever is least busy gets up to see who it is. We like keeping things informal. It makes the day go by faster when you aren't worrying about strict rules. We’ve worked together for a long time, so we don’t need to explain much to each other. We just get on with it. It’s a steady kind of life here at the office. We just do the work and then go home.
