15 Nos

If you find yourself in Baguihati, specifically around the Joramandir area, you might come across Pragoti Apartments. We are tucked away on the third floor in Flat 3C at GE 7 Rabindrapally. The name 15 Nos came about from some old project, and it just kind of stuck with us. It’s a small space, and being on the third floor means we get a bit of exercise every day since the lift is sometimes temperamental. Kolkata can be a bit overwhelming with the noise from the street, but up here it’s a little better. We have some desks pushed against the walls and a lot of cables running across the floor that we keep meaning to tape down. It’s not a corporate showroom by any means. There’s usually a plate of biscuits somewhere and half-finished cups of chai. We do our work, manage our little lists, and try to stay on top of the things we promised people. Sometimes the light from the window is too bright and we have to hang a towel over it because we never got around to buying proper curtains. It’s just a group of us trying to make a living and keeping the business going from a residential flat. We don’t have a big mission or anything like that, we just handle the tasks as they come in and hope the power doesn't go out during a deadline in 700059. It’s just us doing our best.
