Our office is located inside Alapan Apartment, specifically at Flat No 7 G 14 in Rabindrapally. Being in Kolkata, things are always a bit fast-paced outside, but once you get into the apartment building, it’s a lot quieter. We’ve set up our consultancy work here in this flat because it’s easy for us to manage. Sometimes the lift in the building is a bit slow, so we end up taking the stairs. It’s a bit of a climb but good for the legs, I guess. We have a couple of rooms where we keep all our records and desks. It’s not a huge space, but it fits the four or five of us who work here daily. We spend most of our time looking at data and making sure everything is correct for the people we help. Rabindrapally is a decent area with 700059 as the pin code, and it’s pretty easy to find once you get the hang of the local turns. We have some plants on the balcony that we try to keep alive, though sometimes we forget to water them when we get busy with work. The lights in the main room are a bit bright, but they help when we have to read small print late in the afternoon. We don’t have a big sign outside or anything, just our name on the door. It’s a simple setup for simple work. We usually have a bit of music playing softly in the background just to keep the energy up.
