Oni Enterprise

If you are looking for Oni Enterprise, you have to head to 1 Station Road East in New Barrackpur. We are in room 201 which is right where all the action is. Being so close to the station means we hear the trains coming and going all day long. It is a rhythmic sound that you eventually stop noticing after a few weeks. The area is always buzzing with people catching their trains or shopping at the local stalls. It is a very busy part of Kolkata and we are right in the thick of it. The office is simple and functional. We don't have fancy air conditioning just some good ceiling fans that rattle a bit on high speed. The floor is that old-fashioned red oxide that you don't see much anymore. We have a few desks pushed against the walls to make space in the middle. It gets a bit humid here during the monsoon but we just keep the door open to let the air move. Our neighbors are other small businesses so there is always someone popping in to ask for a stapler or just to say hello. There is a small balcony but we don't go out there much because of the soot from the trains. It is just a practical place for us to meet and get our business sorted without any distractions. Sometimes the ceiling fans make so much noise we have to shout a bit.
