Our small business, Not, is based in a village called Fulbari. We get our mail through the Nahata post office in the North 24 Pargana district. It’s a long way from the big cities. Out here in Gopal Nagar police station area, life moves a lot slower. We work out of a simple building that doesn't look like much from the outside. There are fields nearby and you can hear the birds and the occasional tractor going by. We don't have high-speed everything or fancy office furniture. We mostly use what we have and make it work. The rains during the monsoon season can be really heavy, sometimes making the roads a bit muddy, but we stay open. It’s a humble setup. We don't have any marketing people or anyone to write nice things about us. It’s just us villagers trying to run things and stay honest. We have been at this for a few years now. We like being part of the community here in Fulbari and don't plan on moving anywhere else. It is just a basic place where we spend our hours. We hope that is enough for people to know who we are.
