This branch is located over in Madhyamgram at the Sundaram Apartments. We’re in Flat No 213, which makes it feel a bit different from a big street-side building. Being on Sodepur Road means there’s always traffic outside. It’s a small space, really. We handle the usual banking tasks for people living in the area. It gets a bit cramped sometimes when too many people show up at once. We’ve got our desks set up and the files organized as well as we can in an apartment setting. It’s not some big glass tower, just a regular place where we work. People find us easily enough once they get into the complex. Kolkata weather makes the office a bit hot in the afternoons, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be anything special, just Karnataka Bank Ltd doing the daily grind. It’s mostly about helping folks with their passbooks or whatever else they need. We’ve been at this location for a bit now. Sometimes it’s quiet, and other times it’s a total rush. We just take it as it comes. It feels more like a local office than a big institution because of where we are. We just keep the doors open and do the work that’s on the desk for that day. It isn't perfect, but it works for us and the people who come in. We just stay focused on the ledger and the customers who live nearby in Madhyamgram. Sometimes we have to explain things twice because the banking rules are confusing, but we don't mind. We just want to get the job done right.
