Junior Executive

I am based out of Subrata Pally in Shyamnagar, which is in the North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you aren’t used to the local trains, but it’s where I do my work as a junior executive. The area is quite green compared to the city, but it gets very humid during the monsoon months. My office is a simple setup in the village area, and we don't really have any fancy gadgets or expensive furniture. It’s mostly just desks, chairs, and a lot of paper documents that need sorting. I spend my morning going through the mail and making sure the records are updated correctly. Sometimes it feels like the work never ends because there is always something new to file away. People from the local area often drop by to ask questions or just to say hello. It’s a friendly place, and we don’t really follow a strict corporate schedule like they do in Kolkata. We just make sure the tasks get finished by the end of the day. I usually have my tea at the local shop near the station before starting my shift. The pace of life is a bit slower here in Poshyamnagar, but there is still plenty to keep me occupied. It’s just a regular job in a quiet part of the state and we like it that way.
