Our office is over in Salt Lake City, specifically at Ee 107 3 in Kolkata. Being part of J R Laddha Financial Services Private Limited keeps us pretty occupied with numbers and documents all day long. Salt Lake is a bit quieter than the rest of the city, which is nice when you are trying to focus on financial work. We have a lot of folders stacked up and the computers are always humming. It’s a Private Limited setup, but it feels more like a small group of people just doing their jobs. We drink a lot of tea while we look at spreadsheets. The walk from the main road isn't too bad, though it gets soggy when it rains hard in Kolkata. We have got some old wooden furniture that has been here since we moved in. It is not one of those high-tech offices you see in movies. It is just a regular workplace with people who have been working together for a long time. We handle the paperwork and the filings that come our way. Sometimes the printers act up or the internet goes slow, and we just deal with it. People come by to drop off their records or to ask a question about their accounts. We try to be helpful without making things too complicated. It’s just how we run things here in 700091. We stay late sometimes when there is a lot to finish.
