We are located out in the Nawpara area of Rajarhat, near the Pohatiara post office. This part of Kolkata is still developing, so you see a lot of new construction and empty plots of land alongside the older buildings. We are here under the payroll of a web development company, but this is the physical spot where we show up to work. The building is simple, and the roads leading here can be a bit dusty depending on the season. Inside, it is just a normal workspace with desks and the usual office chairs that have seen better days. We don't have anything fancy like a gym or a big lounge. Most of us just bring a tiffin box for lunch and eat together while talking about local news or whatever is on TV. The Rajarhat area is quite spread out, so it takes a bit of time to get here if you are coming from the main part of the city. We have a small corner for making tea, which is pretty much the most important part of the office for us. It is a very basic, functional place. We are just a group of people working on our computers in a quiet corner of the city. There isn't much to see if you are looking for a big corporate headquarters, but it works perfectly well for our daily needs and keeps us busy.
