Hooghly Engineering Technology College

Hooghly Engineering Technology College is located right on Satish Nandy Road. It’s in Kanchrapara, which is part of the 24 Parganas North district. Most of the people around here just call it HETC for short. The campus is at number 87 A, and it sits right in the middle of a busy area in West Bengal. Being in Pin 743145 means we get a lot of students coming from the nearby towns and even further out. It is a place for learning engineering and technology, so you see people with books and laptops walking around all day. The building is older but it serves its purpose. Satish Nandy Road can get quite crowded with traffic, especially in the mornings when everyone is heading to work or class. We have been part of this community for a while now. It is not a flashy place, just a regular college where people come to study and get their degrees. The staff and teachers are usually around, doing their own thing. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the walk to the gate a bit messy, but that is typical for this part of India. We are just a local institution trying to provide a space for students in the district. We keep things simple here and focus on the classes.
