Once you’re here, it’s a busy little office representing the Govt Of India. Kolkata is a city that never really stops moving. The noise from Dakshindari Road always makes its way inside. We work in a space that used to be a residence. It’s got a bit of an unusual layout for an office. Files are tucked into every corner. We aren't about fancy presentations or corporate talk. We just sit at our desks. We get through the massive amounts of paperwork that government work always seems to create. Our tea breaks are the highlight of the day. We sit and chat about nothing in particular. The walls are lined with old metal shelves. They are sagging under the weight of files from years past. We try our best to keep everything organized.
