Genpact

Our office is located in Block A 7, specifically Flat 12, within the Barasat Government Housing Phase 1. This is in the Pono Apara area of the North 24 Parganas district, with the pin code 700125. It is a bit of a trek for some, but it is where Genpact operates from in this part of town. Being in a government housing complex means it is a bit more residential than a typical office park. You see neighbors and kids playing while we are inside working on our computers. We chose this spot because it was available and fits what we do. It is a humble setup, nothing like those big glass buildings you see in the city center. We handle our tasks from this flat, keeping things organized and making sure the work is finished on time. The commute can be a bit long depending on where you are coming from, but Barasat has its own charm. We have a small kitchen area where we make tea and chat during breaks. It is a very grounded way of working. No one here is wearing expensive suits. We just wear what is comfortable and get the job done. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going. We have become part of the local scene here over the months. It is just a practical, no-nonsense place to be. We focus on our daily list and try to do right by the work.
