Genmark Management Systems P Ltd is way out in Taki, specifically near the Motijheel area. We are close to the Taki Ramakrishna Mission in the North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. Being in Taki is very different from being in a big city like Kolkata. It’s much slower and quieter here. Our office is in a simple building near the water. We work on management systems, which involves a lot of technical stuff and planning. The team here is mostly local people who live in or around Taki. You can hear the sounds of the town outside, and sometimes the breeze from the river comes through the windows. It’s a very peaceful place to work. We don't have fancy office furniture; it’s all very basic and functional. We usually start the day with some tea and a quick chat about what needs to be done. The work is steady, and we don't feel the same rush you might find in a metropolitan area. People here know us as the place near the Motijheel that does the management work. We have been here for a good amount of time, and we like the pace of life in this part of West Bengal. It’s a long way from the noise and the crowds, which suits us just fine. We just focus on the systems we are building and managing, taking care of our tasks in our own way and at our own speed.
