First Source

We are based in Sodpur, Kolkata, over in D B Nagar. The address is No 1, Block D 28. It is a residential-style area, so it feels very grounded. First Source has been in this part of Kolkata for a bit. The building is just a regular house that was converted into an office space. We have the 700110 pin code. It is a bit of a commute for some of us, but the train station is not too far away. The office itself is quite plain. We have white walls, some blue chairs, and a lot of computers. We do mostly administrative work and processing. It is the kind of work that requires a lot of focus, so we try to keep the distractions down. We do not have a big sign outside, so people sometimes miss the gate if they are visiting for the first time. There is a small garden area out front that the landlord looks after. It is nice to have some green around. We do not have any corporate retreats or big parties. We just work hard and maybe have some sweets when it is someone’s birthday. The local shops nearby are where we get our lunch most days. It is a very local vibe. Most people who work here live within a few kilometers. It feels more like a community than a big company. We just keep our heads down and get the work done as efficiently as we can. It is a steady place to be.
