Over in Salt Lake City, specifically in Sector 1 at Cd 74, you’ll find our little setup. Kolkata has its own rhythm, and we’ve settled into it nicely over the years. This office is where Ernst Young handles all the tax filings and accounting work for folks in the area. It’s a straightforward space—nothing too modern, just sturdy desks and plenty of paper. Being in Sector 1 is nice because it feels a bit more organized than some other parts of the city. We spend our days digging through numbers and making sure all the boxes are checked on the government forms. Sometimes the humidity makes the paper curl a bit, which is just part of living in West Bengal. Impressing anyone with a fancy lobby or expensive furniture isn't the goal. We just want to get the work done correctly so people can go about their lives. Tea happens a couple of times a day, and the local shops nearby are good for a quick bite when we're hungry. People often drop by without an appointment, and that’s fine with us as long as we aren’t buried in a deadline. It’s a quiet life of bookkeeping and balance sheets. Having been in this building for a while, we know the neighbors well. It’s a comfortable place to work, even if it gets a bit crowded with boxes during audit season. Things move along at a steady pace here for us.
