Our place is located on Blmukherjee Road over in Nimta. If you know the 700049 area, you know it is a bit of a quiet neighborhood compared to the main parts of Kolkata. Development Consultants Pvt Ltd has been running from here for some time. The office is basically just a few rooms where we keep all our files and project layouts. We spend a lot of our hours looking at blueprints and talking to contractors. It is a bit of a trek to get here sometimes, but we like the quiet. It helps when we have to focus on the technical side of things. We aren't the type to wear suits or have big meetings in glass rooms. Usually, we are just in shirts and trousers, drinking tea while we sort out some project issues. People around Nimta know us as the guys who handle the development paperwork and the consulting stuff. We have a lot of old folders stacked up because we have been doing this for years. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but we just keep going. It is a very down-to-earth environment. We don't use big words or try to impress anyone. We just take the project details, do the necessary calculations, and help people get their plans ready. It is a lot of back-and-forth with different departments, which takes up most of our week. It is just a regular office where real work happens every day without any fuss.
