You can find us at Flat 1A in Krishna Residency, which is in Barwaritala, Krishnapur. We are right here in Kolkata 700102, India. It’s a typical apartment setup that we’ve turned into our workspace for Cognizant. Being on the ground floor or 1A makes it easy for people to drop in without having to deal with stairs or elevators. Krishnapur is a busy place, and Barwaritala always has something going on. The building, Krishna Residency, is easy to spot once you get into the lane. It’s a bit of a maze back here sometimes, but we like the character of the area. The office inside is pretty basic. We have what we need to get through the day, mostly just computers and some old desks. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done. The neighborhood is full of small businesses and families, so it never feels lonely. We often hear the sounds of the market or people talking outside our windows. It’s a very Kolkata way of working, I think. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. We just focus on the tasks we have in front of us. It gets a little humid during the summer months, but we’ve got the fans going and we manage just fine. It’s a simple life here in Krishnapur and we are okay with that as we keep going with our daily routines.
