Cognizant Technology Solutions

We are located at Ah 316 in Sector 2 of Salt Lake, Kolkata. This is another one of those block-style neighborhoods. Our building is just like the others on the street. We’ve been here at Cognizant Technology Solutions for a good number of years. The 700091 area is a mix of offices and homes. Our workspace is pretty simple. We have some desks, some chairs, and a lot of computers. We don't spend money on fancy decorations. We’d rather just have good equipment. The people here are mostly from around the neighborhood or a short commute away. We don't have a formal dress code. You’ll see people in t-shirts and sandals. It makes for a relaxed atmosphere. We do technical work, mostly things related to software. It’s not always exciting, but it’s what we know how to do. Sometimes we have problems with the AC or the water cooler, and we just fix it ourselves. We aren't waiting for some corporate maintenance team. We know the neighbors and the local shopkeepers. Salt Lake Sector 2 is a comfortable spot for us. We just come in every morning, do the tasks on our list, and go home when we’re done. It’s an unpretentious way of working. We just focus on the day-to-day and keep things going without any drama.
