Cognizant Technology Solutions

We are located in Ae 631, which is in Sector 1 of Salt Lake City here in Kolkata. If you’ve been to Salt Lake, you know it’s laid out in blocks. Our spot is a regular building on a regular street. We’ve been at this address for some time now under the name Cognizant Technology Solutions. It’s mostly just a group of us working on various software and tech tasks. The 700064 area is pretty easy to get to. We don't have a lot of decorative stuff in the office. It is mostly just chairs, tables, and a lot of wires. Sometimes the office gets a bit messy with papers and coffee mugs. We aren't big on rules about how the desks should look. We just focus on the work. Kolkata weather can be tough, especially the humidity, so the AC is usually running full blast. We take our breaks together and talk about whatever is on the news. It’s a very normal work environment. No corporate slogans on the walls. We just have our computers and each other. The building isn't new, but it's sturdy. We know the local chai wallah quite well. He comes by every afternoon. We just do our jobs day in and day out. It is a plain, honest way to make a living in this part of the city. We don't make a big fuss about things.
