Our office is at Cb 3, Sector 1 in Salt Lake, which is right near the City Centre. The pin is 700064, West Bengal. Cognizant Technology Solutions is based here, and it is a pretty busy part of the city to be in. Salt Lake has a lot going on, so there is always people moving around outside. Inside, we are mostly focused on the screens. We do a lot of different technology work, from basic troubleshooting to more complex programming. It is not a fancy place. We have some desks, chairs that are not perfectly matched, and a lot of cooling fans running to keep the servers from getting too hot. We do not go for the corporate look. We are usually just in casual clothes, trying to solve whatever digital problem came through the door. Being near City Centre is handy for grabbing food, but the office itself is just for work. We have got a small team, and we have been together long enough to know how to get things done without much talking. We do not make big promises. We just look at the code or the hardware and do what needs to be done. It is a straightforward life. We take the bus or the metro, get to Sector 1, and start our day. It is a real job in a real city, and we do not try to dress it up.
