Our place is Capgemini Consulting India Pvt Ltd and we are at Ae 579 Nirupama, on the ground floor. It’s near the Quality Bustop in Sector 1 of Salt Lake City, Kolkata 700064. Salt Lake is a bit more planned than other parts of the city, so it’s easier to find your way around. Being on the ground floor is handy because we don’t have to wait for any elevators. The office is just a regular ground floor space in a residential-style building. We have the usual desks and chairs and a small area for files. It’s pretty quiet most of the time, which is good for focusing. We get a lot of people asking for directions because of the bus stop nearby. We just do our consulting work and keep to ourselves. There are some trees outside which is nice when you look out the window. We don't have any big corporate branding everywhere, just a small nameplate. Lunch usually means bringing a tiffin from home or going to the little stalls nearby. The team here is small and we’ve worked together for a long time. We just deal with whatever work comes our way and try to stay productive. It’s a simple setup, nothing too fancy or expensive. We just appreciate having a steady place to work every day without too much fuss.
