This branch of Capgemini Consulting India Pvt Ltd is out in Newtown, Kolkata. We are in Greenwood Park, specifically Flat No 3A in the first block of vii. Newtown is still growing, so there is always construction noise somewhere in the distance. The building is nice enough, and it’s a bit of a relief from the older, more crowded parts of the city. We have a decent space here on the third floor. The walk from the main gate takes a few minutes because the complex is spread out. Inside the office, it’s mostly just desks, chairs, and a lot of cables. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor; it's just a functional place to work on our consulting projects. The weather in West Bengal is usually humid, so we stay inside mostly. Sometimes we go down to the local tea stall or the small shops around the park during the break. It’s a quiet residential vibe here, which helps when we need to focus. Most of us take the bus or a shared auto to get here. It’s not a flashy corporate park, just a standard apartment block where we’ve set up our equipment. We know the security guards and they know us. It’s just a regular workday for us in Newtown, keeping up with the workload and trying to stay productive without too many distractions. We keep the files organized and just move forward. It works for us as a team.
