We’ve been operating out of D-38 in Sector-59 for quite some time now. It’s a standard industrial plot, nothing that would catch your eye from the street. Vas Engg Products Pvt Ltd is basically just a big workshop where we spend our time making parts. The machines are old but they run well, and they make a lot of noise throughout the day. The floor is concrete and has plenty of cracks in it. We don't have a fancy entrance or a lobby with chairs. You just walk in through the main gate and you’re right in the middle of where the work happens. There are metal scraps and bins of finished parts everywhere. We don't have a big office staff. Usually, the same person who answers the phone is the one who’s out there packing the boxes. It gets pretty hot in here during the peak of summer, but we have some big fans that help a little. We don't spend money on fancy things like branded uniforms or new furniture. We just focus on getting the orders out on time. Sometimes we run into problems with a machine breaking down, and we have to spend the whole night fixing it ourselves. It’s just the way things go in an engineering shop. We’re just regular guys doing practical work in Sector-59. It is noisy and dirty, but it is where we spend our lives.
