We run STE Engineer out of a small place at C-85 in Section 4. It’s a pretty standard industrial block, and we’ve been here long enough that the neighbors all know who we are. The space isn't very big, but it’s enough for the machinery and the bench work we do every day. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby; you just walk in and you’ll likely find one of us covered in grease or busy with a drawing. It’s the kind of place where things actually get built or fixed. We spend a lot of time on the shop floor because that’s where the real work happens. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the tools running, but that’s just how it goes in this part of Section 4. We don't spend money on glossy brochures or anything like that. We figure if the work is decent, people will come back, and they usually do. It’s just a simple operation with a few people who know their way around an engine or a set of tools. We keep our overhead low so we can just focus on the engineering side of things. The office is just a desk in the corner with a lot of old ledgers and some coffee mugs. It’s not much to look at, but it’s where we get everything sorted out.
