Vaishno Food

Vaishno Food is right in the middle of Jaismin Market Subji Mandi Market 27. Being in a vegetable market means we are surrounded by noise and crates of produce from early morning. It’s a lively place to be. We get our ingredients right from the stalls next to us, so everything is pretty straightforward. Our shop isn't big. It’s mostly just the stove and a few tables for people to sit at. We serve a lot of the workers from the market and people doing their weekly shopping. It gets very crowded on the weekends when the whole market is packed. We don't have a fancy menu with photos. It's just written on a board. Some days we have special items depending on what looked good at the mandi that morning. The floor gets a bit dusty because of all the people walking in and out, but we sweep it as often as we can. We've been at Jaismin Market for a while now. It's a hard way to make a living sometimes, especially when it's hot outside, but we like the people here. You get to hear all the local gossip while you're cooking. We don't use any fancy machines, just our hands and old pans.
