Uflex Limited (Engineering Division)

We’re located over in Sector 60, at A-2. This is the engineering division of Uflex Limited. It’s a large site because we handle some pretty big machinery. Sector 60 is full of different companies, but we’ve been a fixture here for quite some time. The work is mostly focused on the mechanical side of things—building and fixing the equipment that makes packaging possible. It’s a lot of steel, welding, and technical drawings. The guys on the floor know these machines inside out. We don't talk much about innovation in the way people do in magazines. For us, it’s just about finding a better way to make a part last longer or run faster. It’s practical engineering. The shifts can be long, and the warehouse gets hot, especially during the summer months. We have a canteen where we all grab lunch and talk shop. It’s a straightforward environment. We aren't here to impress people with a shiny lobby. We’re here to make sure the engineering side of the business doesn't skip a beat. If a client needs a specific modification, we figure it out on the shop floor. It’s loud, it’s busy, and there's always something that needs oiling or adjusting. That’s just a normal day for us. We keep the machines humming along because that is what we know how to do best. Our division just sticks to the hard work.
