Advantage Eng.& Dev Pvt. Ltd. sits right in D-162 Sector 10 in Noida. If you know this area, you know it's full of industrial buildings and small factories. Our place is pretty much the same as the others on the block. We have a heavy metal door that stays open during the day to let some air in. Uttar Pradesh weather can be tough, especially when the humidity picks up in July. Inside, it’s mostly just us working on various development projects and engineering tasks. There’s a small desk near the front where we keep the ledger and the phone. We’ve been at this location for some time now, and we’ve gotten to know the neighbors who run the printing shop next door. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks from where we dropped some heavy gear last year. We don't really have a lobby or a receptionist; you just walk in and someone will probably be there at a workbench or looking at a computer screen. Most days are long, starting early before the sun gets too high and ending when the streetlights come on. We keep a stash of biscuits in the drawer for when the afternoon slump hits. It’s a basic setup, but it’s where we do everything, from the first sketch to the final assembly of whatever we are building that week.
