Taj Design Services Pvt. Ltd operates out of House No. 437B in Block Z, Sector 12, Noida. It’s a residential area, so it feels a lot different than being in a big commercial park. The house is where we set up all our equipment and desks. You can see families walking by and kids playing in the street while we are inside working on design projects. It’s a bit of a maze in Block Z if you don't know where you're going. We’ve lived with the quirky bits of this building, like the light switch that doesn't quite work right or the way the front gate squeaks. It feels more like a home than a corporate office, which is fine by us. We spend our days looking at plans and making sure the measurements are right. There is a small park nearby where some of us go to sit during lunch just to get out of the house for a bit. The neighbors know us, and we try not to be too loud. It’s a practical way to run a business without all the extra costs of a glass building. We just do our design tasks and handle the paperwork. Sometimes we have to move the furniture around to make room for new stuff. It’s a simple setup in Noida where the focus is just on getting the drawings out the door.
